Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, better known as Ari Lennox, is an American musician and singer born in Washington, D.C., who was the first woman to sign with J. Cole's Dreamville Records record label. Dreamville Records released her debut EP, Pho, in October of 2016 when she began to gain recognition. Shea Butter Baby is her debut album. The album was released on May 19, 2019. Ari Lennox first uploaded music online in 2012. She released her debut album Ariography as well as her debut mixtape in 2013, Five Finger Discount. In 2014, Ari Lennox dropped her single Bound along with her mixtape, which she released herself, Five Finger Discount. She appeared in Omen's Elephant Eyes, on Sweat It Out on July 21 in 2015. J. Cole asked her to collaborate with him for Rihanna's remark. Later in the year, her music circulated around Dreamville.
